NABH International has a team of qualified and trained assessors for objective evaluation of hospitals.  The assessment team comprises of two or more assessors selected from NABH pool of clinicians, healthcare administrators, nursing supervisors, specialties (where required) depending on the size and scope of services being rendered by the hospitals. 

The assessment process incorporates interviews with patients, residents and staff.  It calls for onsite visits to patient care areas and to selected departments.  Facility tour addressing issues related to physical assessment of infrastructure, medical equipment, security, infection control, among others, are integral elements of the assessment process.
