Workshop on International Accreditation Standards for Wellness Centers and Spas

"As the Philippine Medical and Wellness Tourism strive for global competitiveness, the Department of Tourism is pleased to extend its support and endorsement for the workshop on International Accreditation Standards for Wellness Centers and Spas that will be jointly conducted by HealthCORE, Inc. and the National Accreditaion Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH). While the Department is set to review the Rules and Regulation on the Accreditation of Spa Establishments, we believe the workshop will help the DOT in upgrading the standards for the accreditation of spa and wellness centers as a unique Philippine experience in wellness and medical treatments. We laud the efforts initiated by the private sector in helping upgrade the standard of services and facilities of the wellness tourism sector in the country."
